About me
Hi, I’m Dr. Emelife — a board-certified radiologist, mother of three, and lifelong natural hair enthusiast. I’ve been creating natural hair content on YouTube for nearly a decade, beginning during my medical school and residency years as I navigated the joys and challenges of being newly natural. Over time, I’ve witnessed the natural hair movement evolve — but one thing has remained clear: while product options have multiplied, few brands truly focus on making the process of caring for highly textured hair more effective, evidence-based, and enjoyable.
As a physician and researcher, I’ve always longed for products and tools that not only work, but elevate the experience of doing my hair — turning routine into ritual. Crown Habits™ is the realization of that vision: a brand built to bring science, beauty, and intention to textured hair care.
